Montreux is the pearl of the Swiss Riviera. This beautiful and clean town, is situated on the banks of the Lake Geneva and it is surrounded by the Alps. However its climate is temperate, its lake side is adorned by cypresses and palms but at the same time the wind coming down from the Alps is chilly.
